Opoponax and Spanish labdanum bring a resinous warmth that settles quickly. The opium note adds a medicinal sharpness that cuts through the rich opening. Turkish rose appears in the heart, but it stays quiet beneath the two sandalwoods. Mysore and Australian sandalwood create a creamy, dense wood that feels smooth and polished. Nagarmotha adds a dry, earthy texture that grounds the floral element completely.
The base is a deep collection of smoke and resin. Gunpowder and choya loban create a sharp, burning scent that feels ancient. Chocolate and amber wrap around the tobacco to form a dark, sweet blanket. Oud and cedar provide a dry wood that supports the heavy balsamic benzoin and frankincense. Papyrus adds a dry, papery quality to the finish. The entire composition feels like standing near a stone fireplace in a room filled with dark wood furniture and heavy velvet curtains while the air outside turns cold and the sky disappears.
