Oud Luban

Oud Luban opens with a bright citrus lift from blood orange and orange, joined by the resinous bite of elemi and frankincense. The opening feels clear and slightly sharp before the heavier materials take hold. The wear sits close to the skin and does not push outward, which keeps the experience personal rather than imposing.

The heart moves into oud, opoponax, choya loban, benzoin, and patchouli. The oud carries a dry wood character while the benzoin and opoponax add a rounded amber tone. Choya loban reinforces the incense thread that started in the top notes, and patchouli grounds the blend with an earthy weight.

The overall accord reads as amber, balsamic, citrus, fresh spicy, oud, aromatic, warm spicy, and woody. It suits cool air and natural light, when the resin notes feel steady rather than heavy. The citrus stays present longer than expected and keeps the darker heart from feeling too dense.
