Pine tar and rose add a faintly medicinal, almost herbal sweetness that keeps the composition from tipping into pure austerity. The base settles into a woody, earthy blend of guaiac wood and vetiver, softened by sandalwood and a whisper of tonka bean, but the musk here is dry, not cozy. This is not a soft leather.
