The sun has just set over a quiet courtyard, and the air cools against stone walls. Someone sits near a wooden table with a bowl of ground cherries, their papery husks still attached, beside a small branch of olive leaves. The opening feels green and slightly bitter, the olive leaf cutting through the sweet tartness of the fruit. It is a close presence, noticed only when the air moves gently between the person wearing it and the space immediately around them. The scent does not reach beyond that small circle, staying near the skin as the evening deepens.
As the night settles, the heart of the fragrance unfolds in this stillness. Tuberose and peony rise with a creamy white floral weight, softened by the chewy, dense sweetness of dried fruits and the rich, nutty texture of pistachio. The pistachio adds a savory depth that keeps the flowers from feeling too bright under the dimming sky. Musk and cashmere wood begin to warm the base, with amber lending a golden, powdery glow that feels intimate rather than expansive. It holds to the body, moving with the person rather than projecting outward into the courtyard.
The blend of woody, musky, and animalic accords creates a texture that feels personal, like a second skin in the low light. Maria Fernanda Faigle composed this 2024 release to live in these small, quiet moments.
