Our take

Kriska Encanto opens with a cluster of red fruits and citrus that feels less like a fresh-squeezed juice and more like a sticky, syrupy candy spilled on a hot sidewalk. The plum and mandarin are there, but the grapefruit and bergamot surrender too quickly, leaving a sweet, jammy impression that never quite lifts. Then the heart arrives, a dense bouquet of Amazon lily, gardenia, and jasmine, but the florals are blurred together, softened by the powdery vanilla note that already starts creeping in from the base. The dry down settles into a familiar vanilla-tonka musk with a whisper of patchouli and sandalwood, but it’s a quiet, skin-hugging finish that seems almost apologetic. The whole composition feels like a watercolor painting left out in the rain, vivid at first then smudged into a pleasant but indistinct fog. With longevity barely hitting three hours and sillage under three, this is a fragrance that stays close, polite to a fault. It’s sweet, creamy, and comforting, ideal for a spring morning or a lazy summer afternoon when you want to smell nice without announcing yourself. But if you crave projection or complexity, skip it. This is a gentle vanilla cloud for those who prefer whispers over shouts.
