Our take

Luna Ousadia opens with a burst of red fruits that is less jammy and more like biting into a freshly washed currant, tart and vibrant. The priprioca root comes in quickly, adding an earthy, almost spicy complexity that keeps the sweetness from tipping into candy territory. As the scent settles, the pitahaya flower and capitiú emerge, the former lending a watery, slightly creamy floral touch while the latter introduces a green, resinous herbal note that turns the composition into something quietly wild. This is not a loud fragrance. The chypre structure is there, soft and mossy, but it feels more like a breeze through a tropical garden than a formal, structured perfume.

The overall character reminds me of a dancer’s wrist brushing against a wet fern after a summer rain, a fleeting moment of freshness and soil. It feels natural without being muddy, with a sweetness that is fresh rather than syrupy. The sillage is intimate, barely a whisper after the first hour, and the longevity is modest at best, three to four hours before it becomes a skin scent. That is its main weakness. You will need to reapply if you want it noticed, and the numbers back that up: a 2.63 sillage and a 3.15 longevity rating are honest reflections.

Luna Ousadia suits someone who values subtle beauty and does not need to announce their presence from across the room. It works beautifully on a warm spring morning, a lazy summer afternoon, or even a cool autumn day when you want a whisper of green and fruit rather than a heavy coat. Skip it if you crave projection or lasting power, or if you prefer dense, dark orientals. But for a soft, earthy fruity chypre that feels both modern and grounded, this one deserves a try. 🌿
