A garden table sits under a wisteria vine that has just begun to flower. The air is warm enough to keep a glass of iced tea cold for only a few minutes. A woman lifts her wrist to check the time and the breeze carries lemon leaf and lilac upward from her skin. The opening is bright and quick, a clean green snap that feels like the first hour of a sunny morning. Peach blossom and peony soften the edges without turning heavy, and the green tea note keeps the air around her feeling light rather than sugary.
As the morning stretches longer, the wisteria and peach blossom settle into the white musk and cedar beneath them. The amber adds a faint golden warmth that never becomes dark or resinous. The entire composition stays in that fresh floral space, smooth and polite, with the cedar giving it a straight backbone so the flowers do not wander. It is a pleasant scent to wear while walking between rows of herbs and trimmed hedges.
