Character
This opens with a cheerful squirt of pink grapefruit and star fruit, all zesty and tart, quickly sweetened by litchi and a lemon drop brightness. It is a very friendly start, like a cocktail someone hands you on a hotel terrace before noon. The heart turns soft and powdery, with violet taking the lead while jasmine and rose hover in the background like polite guests. Then the base settles into a creamy vanilla musk dusted with cedar, and the whole thing becomes a gentle, slightly synthetic haze.
The overall character is best captured by the image of a single, overripe star fruit lying on a white linen napkin after a picnic, the juice drying into a sugary powder. It feels sweet in a tropical, candy-like way, but the violet keeps it from being syrupy. It is unapologetically mainstream and deliberately weightless, which is fine until you realise the sillage is barely a whisper after an hour and the longevity fades before lunch.
