Dream Angel opens with a burst of tart red berries that feel almost sour, cutting through the sugary promise of vanilla before the jasmine fluffs in, powdery and white, like a dusting of icing sugar over fresh fruit. The amber and woodsy notes anchor the sweetness, keeping it from floating away entirely, but this is no complex oriental. It is a straightforward, cheerful vanilla floral built for immediate gratification, and it succeeds at that. The overall character is like a cotton candy puff at a spring carnival, sticky, bright, and vanishing the moment the wind shifts.
And vanish it does. The longevity barely cracks two and a half hours, and the sillage hovers just above a whisper. You will need to reapply, and reapply often. It feels synthetic in the way most Victoria’s Secret mists do, but with a slightly richer base that elevates it above a body spray.
