Our take

Aqua Kiss is Victoria’s Secret’s attempt at a breezy, floral marine, and it opens with a synthetic splash of sea notes that smell less like the ocean and more like the pool filter after a chlorine tablet dissolves. A clean, watery freesia rushes in fast, trailing aloe vera and chamomile that soften the edge into something faintly herbal, like a spa towel left to dry in the sun. The daisy and plum blossom add a sugary, almost candy-floral lift in the heart, but it’s a fleeting sweetness, because within an hour this fragrance evaporates off skin like morning dew on a hot sidewalk. The dry down is a transparent whisper of sweet, salty nothing. Longevity clocks in at a brutal 1.93, sillage barely above skin at 1.98, which makes Aqua Kiss less a perfume and more a mood ring worn by the memory of water. The overall character is a single petal of a white daisy floating in a half-empty Evian bottle – pretty, clean, and utterly weightless. It feels thoroughly mainstream and synthetic, but deliberately so, like a body mist masquerading as a proper eau de toilette. This is for the woman who wants a ghost of freshness after a morning shower, a spritz before yoga or brunch on a sticky summer afternoon. Skip it if you demand projection or a scent that lasts past the car ride to the mall. You will spray, you will forget, and you will be forgotten.
