Salim
Fragrance notes
Character
A guest steps into a dimly lit lounge where heavy velvet curtains block the chill outside. The room holds a small crowd, and this person moves through it wearing Salim by Tabacora Parfums. Christian Carbonnel composed this unisex release to live in spaces exactly like this one.
Rose and saffron open the air around the wearer, while iris adds a soft, powdery veil that keeps the spice from feeling sharp. Oud and cypriol soon ground the blend with a dark, earthy woodiness, supported by the resinous warmth of gurjan balsam. The texture feels rich and slightly dry rather than sweet.
Musk, patchouli, and amber settle into the base, letting the oud remain the steady center as the night continues. The air around the guest carries that exact mix of woody, musky, and warm spicy accords. It is a presence built entirely from rose and oud.
