Our take

Rasikh opens with a braided sweetness, vanilla and amber fused together like warm resin left to soften in a leather pouch. That initial plushness is a clever handshake, because within moments the leather rises, not sharp or new, but well worn, supple from years of use. White musk slides in underneath, adding a clean animalic hum that keeps the leather from turning into a cliché. The drydown settles into cedar and patchouli, dusty and balsamic, grounding everything in a woody earthiness that lingers. The whole composition feels like running your hand over the cracked spine of an antique journal, the scent of old leather, dried vanilla pods, and the faint smoke of a dying fire.

This is not a shy fragrance. The sillage is moderate, hovering around 3.70, close enough to stay personal but with enough presence to announce itself when you move. Longevity is excellent at 4.12, easily lasting through a long evening. It leans synthetic in spirit, but in the way a well constructed niche piece does, polished and intentional rather than cheap. The fall and winter bias makes sense, the warmth of the amber and patchouli wraps around cold air like a blanket. It works for spring evenings too, though summer humidity would turn the leather sticky.

Who is this for? Someone who wants a leather scent that doesn’t scream, one that prefers intimacy over aggression. Skip it if you need fresh citrus or sterile aquatic notes, this is a fragrance of interiors and twilight hours. Wear it to a dim bookshop, a late dinner, a walk home under a heavy coat. It asks for a quiet confidence, no need to perform.
