Our take

You know exactly what you are getting with Viva La Juicy Noir the moment it hits skin: a candied burst of wild berries and mandarin that crashes into a wall of sticky gardenia and honeysuckle, all sugar and no restraint. It opens like a fistful of jelly beans thrown into a greenhouse, loud and unapologetically synthetic in that specific early-2010s way. The heart is a thick, humid white floral mess, jasmine wrestling with honeyed blooms, but none of it smells natural or green. This is perfume as accessory, not meditation.

The dry down is where the thing finally settles into its true form: a cloying caramel vanilla base with a powder puff of amber and a splinter of sandalwood. It wears like a glitter-smeared tube top on a sticky dance floor, sweet enough to attract fruit flies and just as transient. The longevity clocks in at a miserable 2.68 out of 5, and the sillage is barely a whisper after an hour, which feels almost like a mercy. You will need to reapply constantly, or better yet, bring the bottle with you.

This scent is for someone who wants to smell like a strawberry milkshake spiked with florals for a single hour at a fall party, then vanish without a trace. Skip it if you value projection or any sense of maturity. Wear it to a dive bar on a cool night when you do not plan on staying long, but if you want a fragrance that actually lasts through dinner, look elsewhere.
