Pink Haze has a problem with weight. The base is a heavy gourmand stack of vanilla, caramel, almond, amber and sandalwood that should pull the composition into a thick, syrupy place, yet the top notes of wild berries, mandarin orange and orange keep it bright and airy. That tension makes the fragrance feel slightly undecided. The heart of honeysuckle, gardenia and jasmine adds a creamy white floral layer that tries to bridge the gap, but the result is a scent that cannot decide if it wants to be a light citrus spritz or a rich dessert. The lactonic and nutty accords lean toward the latter, while the fruit pulls in the opposite direction.
The argument for wearing it anyway rests on where it fits. This is a daytime fragrance for warm weather, built for a porch in the sun where a cold drink sits within reach and the air already smells like ripe fruit. The citrus and berries belong in that light, the white florals open comfortably there, and the gourmand base stays in the background instead of overwhelming the setting. It suits someone who enjoys a sweet, nutty profile but wants it softened by fresh air and bright surroundings. The limitation remains the same. The gourmand side is too prominent to ever feel completely weightless, and anyone looking for a pure, crisp citrus will find the caramel and almond too persistent.
