Gharaam Oil
Fragrance notes
Character
Gharaam Oil opens with saffron and jasmine. The saffron brings a metallic, warm spicy edge that sits beside the white floral jasmine without overwhelming it. This combination feels bright and slightly sharp at the start, giving the fragrance a distinct presence that moves quickly into the heart.
The middle features amber. It adds a balsamic, resinous warmth that deepens the saffron and rounds out the jasmine. The accord shifts toward a heavier, golden tone here, with the metallic note from the opening still visible but softened by the amber's smooth texture.
Cedar and resins form the base. The cedar provides a dry, woody foundation that keeps the amber from feeling too heavy. The resins add a leather accord that feels firm and slightly austere. Together, these base notes create a finish that is woody, balsamic, and firmly grounded in the oriental floral style.
The fragrance stays linear once the amber settles. The saffron, jasmine, amber, cedar, and resins remain present without much change or development. The metallic accord also persists throughout, which may feel too sharp for those who prefer a softer, more blended floral composition.
