Fragrance notes
Galbanum hits first with a sharp, resinous bite that feels like snapping a fresh green stem. Hyacinth adds a cool, watery floral edge that keeps the opening bright rather than heavy. Carrot seed brings an earthy, slightly peppery root note that grounds the initial spray in soil rather than sugar.
Iris lends a soft, powdery texture that settles across the white flowers without overwhelming them. Rose sits quietly in the background, more petal than syrup, while patchouli and oakmoss push the scent toward a damp, mossy woods. Cedar provides a dry, clean wood line that keeps the base from feeling too dark.
The blend leans heavily into chypre tradition, which means the earthy and mossy accords dominate the floral ones. Composed by Benoit Vittet, it wears its vintage influence openly. The carrot note is unusual and memorable, but the powdery iris can feel a bit too dusty for those who prefer crisp, modern greens.
