Character
MV opens with artemisia, pink pepper, and bergamot. The artemisia brings a soft herbal bitterness that keeps the citrus from feeling bright. Pink pepper adds a gentle heat that sits close to the skin. Bergamot provides a clean lift that moves the opening forward without sharpness.
The heart gathers lily, lily-of-the-valley, ylang-ylang, jasmine, neroli, orchid, Algerian geranium, and hortensia. The lilies and neroli carry a fresh, dewy quality that suits a garden after rain. Ylang-ylang and jasmine add weight and a creamy texture. Orchid and hortensia round out the center with a gentle green touch. Algerian geranium bridges the fresh top and the heavier base with a leafy, slightly rosy facet.
The base rests on champaca, nutmeg, cloves, musk, labdanum, myrrh, Peru balsam, oakmoss, benzoin, cinnamon, tonka bean, guaiac wood, tuberose, cedar, vetiver, and patchouli. Nutmeg, cloves, and cinnamon create a warm spicy layer. Labdanum, myrrh, Peru balsam, and benzoin add resinous depth. Oakmoss, cedar, vetiver, and patchouli ground the flowers with wood and earth. Tuberose and jasmine return to keep the floral presence steady through the drydown. Musk and tonka bean soften the edges. The result is a white floral bouquet wrapped in amber.
