Sanad opens with an unusual, slightly rubbed-green sharpness from the cannabis note, immediately met by the soft, distinctly juicy sweetness of pear and a quiet, prickly heat from pink pepper. It does not rush to smooth itself out. The early minutes hold that contrast in plain view, the fruit and the green sitting close together rather than one fading for the other. Underneath, amber and musk begin to rise, adding a rounded, powdery warmth that pushes the opening forward without covering it. Vanilla sits in the same layer, adding weight but not sugar-heavy sweetness. The heart feels calm and a little dense, more about texture than brightness, and it carries the fragrance away from its fresh start and into something heavier and more settled.
In its later stages, Sanad becomes drier and more resinous. White oud and sandalwood give the base a clean, polished woodiness that avoids feeling harsh or medicinal, while amber returns and ties the deeper notes to the warmer tones from the heart. The powdery musky character stays present throughout this part, softening the sharper edges of the wood and keeping the overall feel close and personal rather than loud or expansive. There is a steady, slightly smoky dryness here that works best in low light and quiet settings, where the resinous warmth can settle in and the cannabis note can linger faintly in the background without being the first thing noticed.
It suits someone who likes green, slightly unconventional openings that quickly give way to warm, powdery woods and amber. Those who prefer fresh, airy daytime scents or very bright citrus-led compositions may find it too heavy and too firmly anchored in its base. The mood is late, private, and a little introspective, more suited to evenings than to mornings, and more suited to layered outfits and dim rooms than to open air and sunlight. It ends on a lingering note of amber.
