Our take

Sandalwood and amber sit at the center of the blend. The sandalwood feels smooth and creamy rather than dry. Amber adds a golden, resinous weight that pulls the heart toward something rich. White oud and Cambodian oud form a dense wooden floor beneath them. The oud here carries a deep, slightly tarry character that avoids sharp medicinal edges. Saffron threads through the base with a warm, slightly metallic glow. Floral notes drift in and out without ever taking a clear shape. The overall impression is woody and warm spicy above all else.

Animalic and powdery accents give the composition a slightly lived-in texture. The powdery facet softens the heavier woods so the scent never feels completely rigid. Animalic touches add a faintly sweaty warmth that some will find inviting and others will find off-putting. The floral accord stays quiet enough that it never pushes the fragrance toward freshness. Everything moves together in a slow, heavy circle of resin and wood. The saffron keeps the darker notes from collapsing into a flat block.

Cambodian oud brings a damp, earthy depth that contrasts with the drier white oud. Sandalwood remains present throughout, tying the spiced base back to a rounded center. Amber continues to glow underneath the sharper woody edges. The mix of two ouds creates a layered woodiness that shifts between dry and damp. Saffron sparkles briefly before sinking into the resin again. Powdery and animalic traces linger at the edges of the scent
