Faghia
Fragrance notes
Character
Faghia opens with rose, orris, and saffron. The rose carries a fresh, slightly dewy quality that sits beside the powdery root character of the orris. Saffron adds a warm, slightly metallic spice that lifts the florals without turning sharp. This opening feels polished and composed, moving quickly into a softer middle.
The heart introduces butter, orris, and jasmine. Butter gives a smooth, creamy texture that rounds out the orris and allows the jasmine to bloom with a clean, white floral presence. The combination feels rich and slightly gourmand, though it stays anchored by the powdery iris note that carries through from the top.
The base gathers beeswax, Mysore sandalwood, oud, ambergris, white musk, musk, and amber. Beeswax and ambergris create an animalic, honeyed warmth that blends with the resinous depth of oud. Sandalwood adds a smooth woodiness while the musks and amber provide a soft, lingering foundation that supports the florals above.
Faghia suits cooler days when the air feels crisp and the light stays low. The scent feels most at home in a wardrobe that welcomes rose, beeswax, animalic warmth, honey, iris, oud, warm spicy tones, floral clarity, powdery softness, and white floral elegance.
