Moonlit Reverie
Fragrance notes
Character
A warm evening out calls for something that feels dressed up without being loud. Moonlit Reverie answers that need with a polished presence that suits both men and women who want a white floral that carries some weight. It feels appropriate for someone stepping out after sunset when the air is mild and the night feels unhurried.
Aldehydes sparkle at the start, lifting gardenia and tuberose into a bright opening that catches attention immediately. The heart deepens that floral core with orange blossom, narcissus, and jasmine, while orris and sandalwood add a soft, powdery woodiness. As it develops, cassis and honey bring a gentle sweetness that sits close to the skin, and the base reveals its animalic side through castoreum, musk, and ambergris, rounded out by bourbon vetiver, Siam benzoin, and more sandalwood.
The composition is dense and rich, which makes its one drawback more noticeable. The aldehydic sparkle and the heavy animalic base do not always sit comfortably together, and the transition between them can feel slightly disjointed rather than seamless.
