Shamamah
Fragrance notes
Character
Shamamah asks patience before it gives pleasure. The first moments carry a heavy, resinous weight that can feel slightly dense and unyielding, pressing close to the skin with an intensity that demands adjustment. It is not a light introduction, and some will find the initial richness a bit too much to take in all at once.
Henna, Siam benzoin, patchouli, sandalwood, labdanum, and musk swirl together in a room lit only by the flicker of a fireplace. The air is cool against the window glass, but inside the space feels wrapped in a thick, balsamic warmth. Powdery amber notes drift through the aromatic smoke, creating a texture that is both woody and deeply musky. It feels like an ancient, treasured object pulled from a carved wooden chest, smooth and dark.
A heavy velvet curtain hangs in a quiet study, absorbing the sound of the rain tapping against the old stone walls outside.
