A night out in the city calls for something that feels grounded yet alert. Sr. N Cedro opens with a bright rush of citruses and bergamot, quickly joined by cardamom and cinnamon that give the entrance a warm, slightly dusty heat. The spices do not shout across a crowded room, but they sit close enough to the skin that anyone nearby catches the blend as you move. Black pepper and nutmeg arrive in the heart to sharpen the edges, keeping the sweetness of the opening in check while the cedar begins to show through.
The base leans into patchouli and tonka bean, creating a soft, resinous wood that feels comfortable in low light and late conversations. It stays present for a reasonable stretch without demanding constant attention, fading gently rather than dropping off. The cedar note is the anchor here, smooth and dry, while the patchouli adds a faint earthiness that stops the tonka from turning the whole composition into a sugar-heavy cloud.
Composed by Verônica Kato, this Natura release carries a clear identity. The limitation is the cinnamon, which reads a bit synthetic and leans sharply artificial against the natural feel of the cedar and citrus.
