Character
The stone terrace bakes under a sun that has been out for hours. A glass of iced water beads on the iron table. Someone sits still with a book open, and the air around them carries a cool, crushed brightness. Mint and bergamot lead the way, sharp and clean, while lavender and rosemary add a green, herbal edge that feels cut from the garden outside.
The middle of the air turns soft. Neroli and jasmine rise through the herbs, smooth and white, with petitgrain lending a faintly bitter green snap to keep the flowers from feeling heavy. The scent stays close to skin and fabric, a thin, bright layer that moves when the breeze does.
Musk settles at the base, pale and powdery. It rounds the citrus and the herbs into something that feels laundered and calm, like a shirt dried flat in the open air. Nothing here is loud or sweet. The composition stays polite, fresh, and a little old fashioned in the best way.
