Nocturnal Immortal opens with bitter orange and mandarin orange that provide a bright citrus start. Rosemary adds a sharp herbal edge to the top. The heart introduces immortelle, which brings a deep honeyed sweetness to the blend. Juniper berries and lavender support this with fresh spicy and green facets. Balsam fir contributes a resinous pine note that keeps the heart leaning aromatic rather than floral.
The base rests on hay and Haitian vetiver, which give a dry, earthy foundation. Oud appears with a dark woody presence, while labdanum adds an amber warmth that ties the heavier elements together. The citrus from the opening fades as the vetiver and oud take over the aroma.
The scent remains present for an extended period once applied. It stays near the body rather than projecting outward across a wide space. The immortelle and labdanum create a heavy sweetness that lingers through the drydown.
The combination of oud and immortelle results in a thick, rich profile that can feel overwhelming in warm weather. The heavy amber and woody base lack a light counterbalance as the hours pass. It suits cooler days but becomes too dense for frequent wear in high heat.
