Our take

Revlon’s Fire & Ice opens with a brisk slap of tangerine and osmanthus, the citrus sharp and almost waxy, before orange blossom softens it into something more lush. Within minutes, the heart swells with tuberose and narcissus, a dense, creamy floral that feels both vintage and unapologetically loud. The dry down settles into amber and incense, with a powdery musk that leans surprisingly animalic, like old lipstick left on a radiator.

This is a fragrance that behaves like a cashmere coat buttoned over a silk slip: heavy, sweet, and unashamedly synthetic in the best way. With longevity barely scraping three and sillage under three, it fades faster than you’d want, a whisper that arrives late to the party and leaves early. The 1994 origins are unmistakable in that sticky, white floral glug, but the smoky incense and woody base give it an unexpected edge.

It suits someone who wants to smell like a crowded elevator in a 90s department store, glamorous and slightly overwhelming. Skip it if you prefer clean, transparent scents or need a fragrance that lasts through dinner. Wear it on a chilly autumn evening or a gray winter afternoon when you want a warm, familiar hug that doesn’t overstay its welcome. Fire & Ice is less fire, more sparkler, but for fifteen dollars, it’s a charming little burn.
