Asad Bourbon
Fragrance notes
Character
Lavender opens Asad Bourbon on a cool, herbal note, quickly warmed by mirabelle's soft fruit and a sharp crack of pink pepper. Cacao and nutmeg move into the heart almost immediately, giving the lavender a dry, slightly bitter chocolate quality, and davana adds a fruity, wine-like depth underneath, deepening the whole heart considerably.
Bourbon vanilla anchors the base exactly as the name promises, sweet and boozy rather than plain and flat, with amber adding warmth and vetiver bringing a drier, rooted balance underneath. It sticks around for a long stretch once the top notes settle, and what lifts off the skin gathers close, a modest presence picked up mainly by whoever's nearby, not spreading much beyond arm's reach.
Built for the colder months, this suits a night out more naturally than a daytime errand, the cacao and amber giving it a rich, warm presence without leaning candy-sweet. Lavender continues to surface through the wear, adding a green, aromatic lift alongside the vanilla and cacao, so the sweetness always has some structure holding it up, never turning one-note despite how much is happening in the base.
