Apple and ginger open sweet and a little spicy, bergamot cutting the fruit with a clean citrus snap before lavender and sage move things in an herbal direction.
Juniper berries and geranium add a green, slightly bitter contrast alongside the fruit, balancing the sweetness early on, and the transition from fruity to herbal happens quickly, right at the start, before the base has any chance to show itself.
Tonka bean, cedar, and amberwood build a soft, sweet-woody base, and vetiver adds a touch of earthiness for grounding. Persistence here is an even, unexceptional hold, present but never remarkable, and the sillage settles into an easy, low-key bubble around the wearer, amberwood and tonka doing most of the lingering once the citrus and herbs have moved on.
This is a warm-weather fragrance through and through, comfortable across spring, summer, and fall, worn mostly during the day when its fruity-aromatic profile feels most natural. Its appeal is straightforward: an easygoing, fruity-woody scent that asks little of the wearer and delivers exactly what it promises, without any of the sweetness turning cloying or the wood turning harsh.
