Amaranthvs created Audrey's Red for evenings when the air turns crisp and the streetlights reflect off wet pavement. Vincent Gambino brings together cherry, rum, cacao, amber, vanilla, tonka bean, labdanum, Madagascar ylang-ylang, and rose without announcing which arrives first. The blend feels like stepping into a dimly lit lounge where a drink waits on a polished table. Sweetness leads, but the rum and cacao keep it grounded rather than airy.
The dry part of the composition carries the real weight. Labdanum and amber wrap around vanilla and tonka bean until the scent feels like warm fabric against skin. Cacao adds a bitter edge that stops the sugar from taking over completely. Rose and Madagascar ylang-ylang sit quietly in the background, offering a floral softness that never tries to dominate. Cherry lingers through it all, tying the gourmand elements to the resinous base so the fragrance moves as one thick, cohesive layer.
The limitation here is the lack of contrast. Every note pulls in the same direction, so the composition never surprises you or shifts into a new mood. If you enjoy clear definition between gourmand and floral, this will feel too merged to follow. The rum and cacao give it depth, but they do not create space. It is a single atmosphere from start to finish, rich and steady, yet never willing to step outside its own warm lane.
