Mukha opens with tobacco and saffron. The tobacco carries a dry, leafy presence that avoids the heavy smoke of a campfire. Saffron adds a warm, slightly metallic edge that lifts the opening without making it bright. This introduction feels direct and unadorned.
The heart develops through Peru balsam, Tolu balsam, and labdanum. These resins provide a sticky, golden sweetness that settles into the tobacco. The labdanum contributes a dark, amber-like weight, while the balsams smooth the transition toward the deeper base.
In the base, castoreum and vanilla join musk, cypriol, and patchouli. The castoreum introduces a distinct leathery animalism that grounds the vanilla's soft sugar. Cypriol and patchouli add an earthy, woody foundation that keeps the sweetness from becoming overwhelming.
The overall impression is amber, woody, and balsamic, with a powdery musky finish. It suits a cool evening walk or a dimly lit room where the air feels heavy. The scent feels dense and resinous. It closes on a blend of earthy patchouli and warm musk.
