Mystic Shore
Fragrance notes
Character
Aldehydes and citron sparkle at the start, bright and slightly metallic. Pink pepper adds a quick bite before the rum note brings a warm, airy sweetness. Bergamot keeps the entrance clean rather than heavy.
Jasmine tea and petitgrain carry a soft, slightly bitter green edge. Lavender sits quietly in the background, never turning soapy. Galbanum pushes the green character further, making the heart feel crisp and open. The base is where Mystic Shore spends most of its time. Ambergris and marine notes create a salty, damp impression that calls up a warm breeze near the water. Leather adds a dry, slightly worn texture, while vetiver and sandalwood give the wood a smooth, creamy quality. Iso E Super wraps the blend in a modern, slightly fuzzy haze. Vanilla and musk soften the sharper edges without making the mix sweet.
The composition feels polished and cohesive, but the rum and vanilla can lean a little sugary when the air is very warm. Some wearers may find the aldehydes too sharp against the tea. The leather is present yet faint, which could disappoint anyone hoping for a bold, rugged finish.
