Couture Cat can feel a little too arranged. The champaca and mandarin orange greet the air in a bright, polished arc, but the orchid that follows sits stiffly beside them, as though each petal has been placed by hand. Plum and apricot arrive with a soft, rounded sweetness, yet the pink jasmine and violet never quite loosen their grip on the structure. Everything stays neat and deliberate, like a table set precisely for a late morning gathering in a garden where the sun has just warmed the stones.
A breeze moves through the courtyard and carries the fruit forward. The musk and amaranth settle into the background, lending a powdery, faintly dusty softness that keeps the boysenberry from becoming loud. The floral accords hold their shape against the citrus, and the sweetness remains moderate, never tipping into excess, while the entire composition stays composed and upright.
The limitation is that Couture Cat never relaxes. Every note appears exactly where it was planned to be, and the result feels more curated than spontaneous.
