Lavender and bergamot arrive first, bright and clean with a cool edge. Guatemalan cardamom adds a crisp, green heat that keeps the citrus from feeling flat. Cedar leaves and juniper follow, leaning into a forest floor atmosphere that feels dry and upright.
Pimento seeds bring a warm bite to the heart, sitting between spice and resin without overwhelming the lighter notes. Benzoin and musk form a soft, powdery cushion beneath the sharper woods. Australian sandalwood lends a creamy texture that rounds out the sharper edges of the vetiver.
Chinese oud and Indonesian patchouli leaf anchor the scent with dark, earthy depth. Leather and rock rose add a faintly smoky, rugged character that suits cooler evenings. The scent stays near the body, moving with the skin rather than projecting outward across a space.
The base holds its shape for an extended period, so the darker elements linger well after the bright opening fades. One drawback is the powdery amber accord, which can feel a bit heavy and outdated to those who prefer crisp, modern finishes.
