Motus No.4
Fragrance notes
Character
Motus No.4 opens with a bright, tart grapefruit that feels immediate and clean. Fir sits beside it with a green, resinous edge that keeps the citrus from leaning too sharp. The pairing is brisk and outdoorsy, moving with a clear, upright energy that feels natural rather than polished.
Black pepper enters the middle and adds a dry, cracking heat that pushes the scent forward. It does not overwhelm the opening, but it changes the direction toward something more assertive and angular. The air becomes spicier and more textured, with the pepper giving the green top notes a rougher, more masculine edge.
Labdanum settles in the base and brings a warm, amber-like weight that feels sticky and rich. It ties the pepper to the fir and creates a balsamic, musky finish that is both woody and aromatic. The overall impression is fresh spicy and warm spicy at once, with the citrus fading into a deep, resinous trail.
