Hora de la Verdad Sombra
Fragrance notes
Character
The amber glow of a dimly lit jazz club wraps around the room as a musician wipes sweat from a brass instrument. A faint trace of metallic blood and white pepper cuts through the air first, sharp and vivid against the low hum of conversation. Thyme and saffron quickly follow, lending a warm, herbal heat that feels intentional rather than ornamental.
As the night continues, Turkish rose and narcissus rise from the collar, their floral weight softened by a persistent jasmine that refuses to dominate. Beneath them, birch tar and cedar ground the air with a dense, resinous smoke. Hyrax and castoreum add a deep animalic growl that feels entirely natural here, while oud and civet push the scent closer to the skin without shrinking its presence.
Spanish labdanum and oakmoss linger on the sleeves of a wool coat, the musk settling into the fabric with a slow, steady weight that stays through the final set. Leather and guaiac wood hold the entire composition together, a dark, unwavering silhouette in a room filled with brass, wood, and the heavy warmth of bodies pressed close in the half-light.
