Character
The door clicks shut and the hallway light stays off. A single lamp burns low over a wooden table where a velvet scarf lies folded next to a half-empty cup of tea. The air feels cool on the skin, the kind of stillness that makes every sound sharper.
Saffron rises first, dry and metallic, curling around the room like a thin ribbon of smoke. It does not shout. It sits in the air with a golden, slightly bitter edge that makes the space feel older than it is.
From the corner comes the black rose, heavy and dark, its petals crushed against the oakmoss that clings to the floorboards. Patchouli adds a damp earthiness while oud deepens the shadow, lending the room a smooth, leather-wrapped weight that feels rooted in the wood and stone around you.
The scarf absorbs the scent, holding the warm spicy and mossy air close to the fabric. Floral notes drift through the heavier base, softening the edges without lifting the mood. Oakmoss and oud remain.
