Lush Leaves
Fragrance notes
Character
Lush Leaves opens with a sharp, herbal rush of cypress, basil, and sage. The cypress brings a clean, resinous edge while the basil and sage add a peppery, slightly medicinal freshness. This green introduction feels brisk and upright, steering clear of sweetness as it establishes a cool, aromatic tone that feels awake and alert.
The heart introduces narcissus and rose, but they do not soften the blend into a traditional floral. The narcissus carries a slightly bitter, hay-like quality that pairs with the rose's dry petal texture. Together they bridge the herbal top and the heavy base, allowing the transition into oud, leather, vetiver, and styrax to happen without a sudden shift in weight.
The base is dense and dark. The oud and leather create a rugged, smoky foundation, while vetiver adds an earthy, root-like dryness and styrax contributes a warm, balsamic resin. The leather lingers against the skin with a firm, tannin-rich presence. The overall impression is dry, woody, and firmly herbal, anchored by the amber accord.
