Bruno – Pure Essence
Fragrance notes
Character
Saffron hits first, bitter and metallic, with a sharp burst of grapefruit that smells like rind and cold air. Fresh grass adds a raw green edge beneath the spice, keeping the opening from feeling too polished.
Patchouli takes over with an earthy weight, softened by a rose that feels dry rather than dewy. Cedar gives the heart a clean line while oud builds in the background, resinous and dark. Musk and sandalwood smooth the edges so the wood does not splinter. Leather sits in the accord like a worn jacket, powdery and warm, pulling the whole composition toward a dim room where the lights are low and the air is thick with smoke and conversation.
The blend is rich and unapologetic, but the metallic saffron never fully settles. It clings to the skin like a static charge, making the rose smell a little thin and the sandalwood feel like it is hovering just out of reach.
