Nishiki
Fragrance notes
Character
The sun sits high over a garden path where pale petals have just shaken off morning rain. Nishiki opens with bright bergamot and neroli that feel clean and immediate, while aldehydes add a faint sparkle to the air. A soft touch of peach and strawberry sits underneath, sweet but not heavy, giving the entrance a gentle, inviting warmth.
As the walk continues, the heart reveals itself in layers of lilac, lily-of-the-valley, and may rose. Jasmine and lily bring a creamy white floral character, and violet adds a cool, slightly powdery edge. Orris grounds the bouquet with its smooth, rooty texture, turning the garden air into something refined and quietly elegant.
Beneath the flowers, vetiver and sandalwood provide a clean, woody foundation. Labdanum and Peru balsam add a golden amber warmth, while tonka bean and musk wrap the base in a soft, lingering haze. The overall impression stays fresh and green, never tipping into excess, with each element balanced against the next.
Light catches the damp petals and the air feels composed, graceful, and alive with color. The fragrance rests in that space where citrus, white floral, and powdery iris meet, carried by a woody, amber warmth that suits the open air.
