Fragrance notes
Oriental opens with a sharp, pungent mix of pink pepper, black pepper and saffron. The spice is immediate and bright, giving the fragrance a crisp start that feels energetic rather than heavy. It moves forward quickly, letting the initial heat lead directly into the floral heart without lingering too long on the surface.
The middle develops geranium, lavender and rose. The lavender adds a clean, slightly powdery edge to the rose, while geranium brings a green, stem-like freshness. Together they soften the spice from the opening and create a rounded, aromatic center that feels balanced between floral and herbal tones.
The base is the most substantial part of Oriental. Sandalwood and oud provide a deep, resinous woodiness, while tonka bean and ambergris add a smooth, sweet warmth. The oud is present but not overwhelming, sitting comfortably alongside the creamy sandalwood. Vanilla and amber accords wrap around the wood, giving the drydown a rich, rounded finish that feels cohesive and steady.
