Licorice adds a dark, slightly bitter edge to that opening, while cumin brings a warm, earthy spice that keeps the start from feeling clean or polished. Petitgrain contributes a green, twiggy freshness that sits just behind the citrus.
Cypriol and birch form a dry, smoky heart that feels rugged rather than refined. Galbanum pushes the green tone further, making the middle feel sharp and resinous. Oud appears here with a woody depth, supported by the pine-like quality of mastic. Pistachio adds an unexpected nutty roundness that softens the sharper resins.
Tobacco in the base is rich and slightly sweet, blended with the marine warmth of ambergris and the softness of musk. The overall impression is woody, balsamic, and firmly aromatic. Composed by Olivier Durbano, this masculine fragrance carries a heavy, dense character that can feel overwhelming in lighter settings.
