A courtyard in late autumn sits under a thin silver moon, stone walls still holding the day's chill. Someone walks through the archway wearing Opulentia Oud. Saffron and raspberry lead first, bright and slightly tart, quickly joined by coriander and nutmeg that add a dry, warming edge. Geranium and marigold keep the opening crisp rather than sweet. Bulgarian and Damask roses unfold together with Egyptian jasmine and orange blossom, their petals feeling cool against the spice, while orris smooths the transition. The scent does not shrink against the night air. Oud and amber anchor everything, supported by labdanum and moss that bring a damp earth quality. Vetiver, cypriol and patchouli add a dark rootiness, and musk lingers long after the walk ends, wrapping the air around the wearer until morning.
Christian Provenzano composed this oriental floral for Tomavicci in 2024 as a shared release. The blend feels substantial without becoming heavy, the roses and white florals balancing the resinous base. It suits someone who enjoys a complex flower and wood combination that stays present in a crowd. Those who prefer clean citrus or light aquatics will find this too dense. The courtyard remains quiet, the stone still cool, and the air continues to carry amber, oud and rose.
