Cidre d' Automne
Fragrance notes
Character
Cidre d' Automne smells like walking past a wooden stall where crates of fruit sit next to baskets of cinnamon sticks. The apple note is crisp and bright, carrying a green edge that feels like biting into a firm skin. Fresh spicy and warm spicy accords weave through the fruit, giving the air a gentle heat that never burns.
As the scent continues, the apple softens and the spices take on a rounder shape. The green facet fades into the background while the warm spicy accord wraps around the fruit like a thick knit scarf. It feels cozy and familiar, the kind of atmosphere found in a kitchen where something sweet simmers on the stove while daylight rests on the windowsill.
The composition stays close to its few elements, and that simplicity becomes its limit. With only apple to carry the fragrance, the evolution feels narrow and the character does not shift far from its starting point. There is little depth to discover once the initial impression settles, which leaves the scent feeling one-dimensional after a short while.
