Cherry Oud
Fragrance notes
Character
Cherry Oud opens with cherry blossom and raspberry, bright and lightly tart, while saffron brings a warm, slightly metallic edge that keeps the fruit from leaning sugary. The entrance feels fresh and floral at first, then quickly gains a gentle spice that settles close to the skin. Almond blossom joins the cherry tones in the early stage, adding a soft, rounded softness that smooths the sharper edges of the raspberry without muting it.
The heart introduces Bulgarian rose, which adds a deep, slightly powdery floral layer that sits comfortably beside the fruit. Cypriol grounds this middle phase with an earthy, woody character that steers the composition away from a simple gourmand path. The rose and almond blossom together create a bridge between the vivid top and the heavier base, allowing the saffron to linger as a quiet thread through the center of the wear.
Oud anchors the drydown with a resinous, slightly smoky woodiness that pairs with Madagascar vanilla and tonka bean for a sweet, creamy finish. The vanilla and tonka do not overwhelm the oud, but they soften its rougher edges into something smooth and slightly gourmand. Wear it on cool mornings when the air is crisp and a warm, floral wood feels appropriate.
