Our take

The evening air is cool against the skin as a glass of sharp rhubarb and passionfruit sits on the table, the bergamot bright beside them. Fire In Love enters through that fruit, the tart stalks and tropical juice immediate and vivid, never leaning into candy. The flowers arrive without waiting, a thick cream of tuberose and jasmine sambac that feels heavy and real, the Bulgarian rose adding a soft petal edge to the white mass. Cedar grounds the heart with a dry wood that keeps the petals from floating away, while amber and musk wrap the stems in a powdery warmth. The air feels layered, the green tartness of the opening still visible through the floral weight, the wood holding everything close to the skin in a steady, golden haze.

The fruit stays present longer than expected, the rhubarb flickering against the tuberose like a memory of daylight in a room filled with night blooms. Virginia cedar deepens the base, the amber glowing underneath the jasmine without turning sweet, the musk lending a clean, slightly dusty finish to every breath. It is a fragrance built like a bouquet placed in a wooden vase, the stems still damp, the petals heavy and closing slowly as the air around them turns to wood and warm powder, the rhubarb whispering through the white flowers
