Our take

Grapefruit and black currant burst out first, bright and slightly tart. Rhubarb adds a crisp green edge that keeps the fruit from leaning sweet. Rose enters soon after, soft rather than heavy, with ginger giving it a gentle lift. Musk and amber sit underneath, warm but never thick. Virginia cedar grounds the blend with a dry, clean woodiness.

The ginger here feels fresh, not hot, and it pairs well with the tart fruit. Rose carries the heart without dominating the other notes. Musk lingers in the background, smoothing the transitions between the citrus and the wood. Amber adds a faint golden warmth that never becomes loud.

You notice the scent when you are close, and it stays with you through a walk under clear skies with leaves just starting to turn. It does not overwhelm the air around you, and it does not disappear after a short while. The fruit and the rose feel right for a morning spent outside, when the light is steady and the air is mild.

A garden path lined with pale stones, sunlight touching the cedar planks of a bench, and the air carrying a quiet mix of fruit and rose.
