Cypress arrives quickly, lending a green, resinous edge that keeps the citrus from feeling bright or sunny. This is a scent built for someone walking outdoors when the trees are bare and the light is pale, not for a warm evening indoors. The opening feels sharp and clean, with the pepper providing a gentle heat that never overwhelms the fresh air quality of the greens.
As the initial spray settles, Haitian vetiver and galbanum take hold, deepening the green theme with an earthy, slightly bitter rootiness. Mimosa and tuberose are present in the heart, but they do not turn the fragrance floral or soft. Instead, they offer a faint, pollen-like dust that rounds the edges of the sharper plants. Ambroxan adds a modern, smooth texture that helps the scent adhere to the skin, allowing the green notes to unfold slowly over several hours without fading into nothingness.
Cedar and cashmeran form a dry, woody foundation that grounds the entire composition. The scent stays near the body, creating a personal bubble of scent that requires someone to be close to notice the complexity of the vetiver and spice.
