The hazelnut makes the heart feel round and slightly dense. As the fragrance moves forward, amberwood and patchouli take charge, joined by moss and cashmere wood. The amber accord warms the patchouli so it reads earthy rather than dirty. Moss adds a dry green touch that keeps the base from feeling heavy. Cashmere wood smooths the edges and lets the amberwood linger on skin. The composition stays present through a normal day without overwhelming the air around you.
The scent suits cooler weather and evening wear, though it works in an office if applied with care. Men who like aromatic woods with a nutty heart will find it easy to wear. The tonka and hazelnut can feel a bit synthetic, which distracts from the natural pepper and lavender.
