Gümüş
Fragrance notes
Character
The heavy door swings shut and the gallery goes quiet. Overhead lights catch the silver frame of a photograph, and a fine mist of Gümüş settles into the cool air. Aldehydes sparkle like dust near the glass, bright and slightly metallic. Bergamot and orange add a clean citrus lift that feels polished rather than juicy, as if the room itself has been wiped down and refreshed.
China rose and Bulgarian rose soon appear, soft and waxy against the chill of the walls. Thyme and myrrh give the flowers a green, resinous edge that keeps the bouquet from feeling formal. Cistus incanus spreads a warm, leathery hum through the heart, turning the floral display into something earthy and grounded. The scent sits close to the velvet curtains and the wooden floors.
Benzoin and vanilla bring a golden, balsamic sweetness to the base, met by moss and patchouli for a damp, forest floor texture. Australian sandalwood smooths the blend while labdanum and coumarin add a haylike warmth. A trace of castoreum lingers near the baseboards, dark and animalic, anchoring the amber accord to the quiet space.
The room holds a single, steady impression now. Amber wraps around woody notes, rose petals press into vanilla, and the balsamic air feels warm and aromatic.
