Our take

Fall Into Stars opens with a prickly flare of pink pepper and narcissus, the yellow flower’s honeyed greenness cutting through the air like a blade of light. Within minutes, Palisander rosewood unfurls its rosy, almost metallic grain, while Indian oud smolders underneath, dark and medicinal. Slowly, a vanilla sweetness melts into the base, but this is no gourmand vanilla it is balsamic, ambered, weightless as ash. The dry down is a quiet cathedral of wood and smoke, where the narcissus lingers like a ghost of spring lost in winter.

What is a star but a distant, burning secret? This fragrance smells exactly that: a single ember caught in the folds of a velvet night sky. It is heavy but never cloying, natural in its resinous texture and utterly niche in its refusal to pander. The sillage hovers close, a modest three-point-four, which is the one honest weakness if you want to announce yourself from across a room, look elsewhere. Longevity, however, is stalwart four hours plus, clinging to fabric.

This is a scent for the solitary drinker, the one who walks home through frost under streetlights and prefers the company of silence. Wear it to a late gallery opening, a winter opera, or simply to your own bed when the world feels too loud. Skip it if you crave citrus or clean laundry this is oud and rosewood and vanilla, an intimate nocturne best suited for fall and winter nights when the air itself asks to be wrapped in something darker.
